Listed below are some of the issues discussed at the most recent Chester County Planning Commission meeting on January 13, 2010.

Mark Blair and Nancy Mohr served as the Nominations Committee for both officers and VPP Revision Committee....Judy Di Fillipo was elected Chairman and Nancy Mohr was elected as Vice Chairman for the year 2010.

Members elected to the Vision Partnership Program Policy Revision Committee are Joe Viscuso, Caroline Novak and Judy Di Fillipo. This committee will meet for 3 or 4 months to update and revise current VPP policies and practices.

Submissions for Subdivision and Land Development Plan Reviews were 24 (242 for all of 2009). Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Amendments totaled 9(total for year -197)

There was 1 minor Act 537 reviews and 1 major revision.

The Planning Commission staff has developed an Existing Surfaced Trails Inventory Map...The map lists each municipality and the number of miles of existing surfaced trails within it's boundaries. The map is available under Map Gallery at the CCPC web-site.

An inventory of all County Open Space will begin soon...Municipalities will be contacted in near future.
